(The Sturmey-Archer rear hub is stamped 1998.)If you're NOT a bike geek - like me! - but just someone looking to get a folding bike and start using it, I don't think that this is for you; do NOT buy this bike. However, if you ARE a bike geek - like me! - and you're really into the Brompton design and function, you probably see this as a bit of a project; it'll need some adjustments, minor repairs, tuning-up, cleaning to make it "just right".100% rideable, but brakes are not working well; If I were going to keep it, I would replace all the brake cables, cable housings
