(THIS IS A CONTINGENT POSITION) Under the general supervision of the Crisis Care Center Site Director, the Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor (Contingent) serves as the contingent supervisor of non-clinical/technical staff for the Crisis Care Center. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversees behavioral health technician staff members. Oversees the scheduling of behavioral health technician staff members. Completes monthly reporting on staff members. Assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers of individuals. Conducts ongoing observation of individuals for the purpose of reporting any significant changes. Responds quickly to critical situations that may require Restrictive Interventions. Functions as a leader in providing de-escalation and support strategies to prevent the use of physical restraints. Provides effective emergency response in the event of imminent danger in order to maintain safety and security. Provides a No-Force-First recovery environment.
