Madea was pregnant when she was rescued from a cat colony in Detroit. Once safely in foster, she gave birth to five beautiful kittens. Madea was closely bonded to her kitten, Iris, who unfortunately passed away earlier this year. Madea loved to cuddle and play with Iris so she may do best in a home with another kitty friend to snuggle and play with. She loved to be near her foster mom and would follow her around the home, but she is still learning to trust people here at the Catfé. Madea will need a patient and understanding adopter that can help her learn how to trust again.
