Bon Secours Medical Group is hiring a Board-Certified Pediatric Surgeon to support St. Mary's Hospital in providing surgical care to pediatric patients ranging from newborns through teenage years. St. Mary's Hospital is a 391-bed facility in Richmond near the West End. Located on St. Mary's Campus, this clinic offers care to children of all ages. St. Mary's has a dedicated pediatric emergency department, as well as inpatient pediatric intensive care, neonatal intensive care, and general pediatric units. Position Includes: Collaborating with other pediatric specialty providers for diagnosis and management of surgical conditions in children. Managing and performing preoperative, operative, and postoperative care. Provider will have a mix of patient appointments and dedicated surgical time. Procedures can include general pediatric surgery interventions such as appendectomy, biopsy, pyloric stenosis, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, I&D, device implants, Tracheotomy, exploratory lap, bowel resections, etc.
